AMERICAN SUZUKI RECEIVES EIGHTH PRESTIGIOUS MARCOM CREATIVE AWARD


Suzuki’s 2008 Web-based training courses recognized for excellence



BREA, Calif. – (Nov. 21, 2008) – American Suzuki Motor Corp. today announced it has been honored with eight MarCom Creative Awards, including two Platinum awards for its 2009 Grand Vitara New Model and OE connection – D2D Web-based training courses. Suzuki also received five Gold awards for dealership service manager, service advisor, parts manager, parts counterperson and service technician Web-based training courses and an Honorable Mention for a greeter, cashier, telephone operator and receptionist Web-based training course. Suzuki once again teamed up with Pacific Technology Solutions, of Irvine, Calif., for its training programs.

The announcement marks the third time Suzuki has received recognition from MarCom Creative Awards, which are sponsored by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals and judged by industry professionals. This year, there were more than 5,000 entries throughout the United States and several foreign countries. Winners were selected from more than 200 categories in seven forms of media and communications efforts.


The MarCom Creative Awards are designed to evaluate work solely on its own merit, and the competition rewards companies and individuals with the highest standard for excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
