August 01, 2002 - SUZUKI's 140 horsepower four-stroke outboard is now available with counter rotation. Taking into account this motor's proven strong performance, fuel efficiency and superior power-to-weight ratio,
it's now an even better choice for power catamarans, large center consoles and other saltwater
fishing boats.
Counter rotation helps minimize the effects of prop torque when running twin engines at planing speeds, providing an even ride and easier handling. Counter rotation also provides additional control in tight quarters, such as when docking or maneuvering in crowded marinas.
